Although we follow the recommendations of American medical governing bodies, postpartum is a universal experience and we are happy to provide Uwa support to any woman anywhere in the world. As we build out Uwa Connect Plus and Premium options, chat coaching is available 24/7 and we will work to schedule video coaching at a time convenient to you.
-
We currently provide services in English only but are working on providing services in Spanish in the near future.
-
Research shows the first 6 weeks postpartum are typically the most difficult physically, mentally and emotionally. This is also the period where access to traditional medical care is more difficult and where the learning curve is the steepest.
Our support services at Uwa are designed to cover up to 1 year postpartum. We understand that every new parent's needs are unique and may change during the postpartum period, so we are here for you whenever you need us most!
-
We are diligently working to have Uwa services included as a covered benefit through major insurance carriers. At this time, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider to facilitate reimbursement for your out-of-pocket services. Contact our customer care for more assistance at customercare@uwacare.com
-
We do not provide refunds for past months and we do not prorate for partial months of membership. If you find you have transitioned adequately through your postpartum stage and no longer wish to continue with your Uwa Connect membership you can cancel at any time with no charge.
Uwa Connect Plus and Premium memberships will be charged with continued access for the remainder of your month.
If you have any concerns please contact customercare@uwacare.com

Although our focus is the postpartum mama, we provide information that can benefit partners and family members trying to learn how to support the new mother in their life.
-
Supporting a new mother with Uwa Connect, Uwa Daytreat or Uwa Night services is easy. Simply purchase a digital gift card to be sent to the new mother of your choosing. She will then be able to sign up for her choice of services.
-
We support fair access to care for all birthing people regardless of how your journey to parenthood began. Although some of our services address issues related to biological birth and lactation processes, much of the support provided would be beneficial to anyone adjusting to a newborn at home.
-
Our Daytreats can be enjoyed and beneficial at anytime during the first year postpartum.
-
Given the changing needs of infants, at this time we only offer child care for infants under 16 weeks at our Daytreats.
-
To secure your Daytreat reservation a 50% deposit will be held at time of booking. The remainder will be charged 14 days prior to your expected arrival.
-
We are prepared to host both you and your newborn in comfort all day but we suggest you bring any critical or preferred items you may require for yourself or your newborn:
medications you or your baby may need to take during the day.
Nursing or personal care essentials (nursing bra, breast shields, nursing pads, sanitary pads, postpartum underwear, etc)
your electrical or manual breast-pump (great for lactation 1:1 session) and milk storage containers if you have a preference.
Diaper bag for your infant with all their essentials (preferred diapers, wipes, bottles, nipples, pacifiers, change of clothing, etc)
-
We understand the heartbreak of going home without your baby and are happy to offer a full refund (minus processing feeds) if that is what is best for your family.
Our physician lead team and skilled staff are well versed in the care of medically fragile babies. You may opt to enjoy the benefits of the daytreat without your baby or reschedule for a later time. Once you and your baby are cleared by your medical team for discharge home, let us know and we will coordinate rebooking your experience at Uwa.
